Jekein Lato-Unah (b. 1996) a visual artist living and working in Lagos, is passionate about documenting the lives of women through painting. “Madam President” and “The bigger picture” are a projection of Nigeria in the nearest future, where women take up roles that have been primarily assigned to men throughout our national history.

ElectHER is a non-partisan progressive women’s political advancement organization bridging inequality gaps in African democracy, by advocating for and enabling women’s leadership across appointive and elective office.
